Ever since the fall season started, I couldn’t wait to pull out my knee high boots. If I had to choose one pair of boots as a must-have in my closet, I would definitely go with the knee high boot. It comes in a variety of silhouettes offering diversity. Whether you’re going to work or a night out, the options are endless. There’s just a certain sophisticated and sexy appeal that wearing knee high boots can bring to any look, especially when paired with at or above the knee hemlines or anything with a slit. If you’ve been following me on Instagram or my blog, you’ll notice that I have quite a few dresses with slits in them. (I just can’t resist lol!) With today’s post, I’ll be showing you guys how to style knee high boots and elevate your fall wardrobe.
As seen here, I decided to take the monochromatic approach with styling knee high boots. I wore a honey brown velvet mock neck dress layered under a brown organza shirt dress with a pair of brown croc leather boots. To accessorize, I wore my go-to tortoise print purse.
I especially loved this look because it took me out of my comfort zone. This was my first time really styling an organza piece and I was shocked with how well the other pieces worked with it. Also, the contrast between the sheer dress and platform boots are the perfect combination for a different, groovy fall vibe.
