Spring Street Style: The Neutral Look

As we all know, different prints and pieces have resurfaced as trends for this year’s Spring season. Even though it’s officially Spring, it’s still not warm enough to put away your trench or leather jacket just yet. Both of these pieces are timeless which can be styled in many ways on any occasion. So, if you’re unsure of how to dress for the ever-changing weather that Spring brings, look no further because my girls and I have got you covered!

EDGY & CLASSIC

Nothing says edgy like a funky leather jacket and some chunky sneakers. As seen above, my style is classic, modern, and statement. The black dress with a gold button detail is already a versatile piece. The slit combined with the shoulders of the jacket and shades add an extra oomph to the outfit. I decided to pair it with my cropped leather jacket, cream turtleneck, and gold sneakers to create structure. This look is perfect if you’re someone that loves a good slit like me.

VINTAGE & CHIC

Play with textures - my girl Karis has New York street style on lock with this chic, minimal look. A lover of neutral colors, she wanted to incorporate her favorite trends into her outfit. Since most of her looks are dark, Karis paired her shimmery turtleneck with fringe jeans and white booties to make the outfit pop. To add a clean touch, she included a classic trench coat.

90s MINIMALIST MEETS CONTEMPORARY

If you love pairing contemporary pieces with vintage classics, my girl Kelly has the perfect outfit. Lately, she’s been obsessed with wearing her black leather jacket, layered with a cream turtleneck underneath a velvet, floral print slip dress. She thinks florals are a classic for Spring and found it as the perfect statement piece to elevate what was mostly a neutral look.
